Getting Started

Chordacious is your songbook, setlists, chord editing, transpose, and every Pro feature — all fully offline once installed. Download the app, sign in to sync your Pro status, and manage billing from within the app.

1. Getting the App

1. Go to Download on chordacious.com/download.
2. Choose the installer for your platform (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
3. Install and open the app. Your songbook lives locally on your device and works fully offline once installed.
4. Sign in with your Chordacious account to sync your Pro status across devices.

2. Building Your Songbook

• Add a song from the catalog or start a blank chart.
• Edit chord charts using the point-and-click chord placer, or type charts directly using inline ChordPro (A[G]mazing [C]grace) or chords-over-lyrics format.
• Transpose a song's key with one click.
• Adjust font size and turn on auto-scroll for hands-free reading while playing.

3. Setlists

1. Go to Setlists in the app and create a new one.
2. Add songs from your library in the order you'll play them, and reorder by dragging.
3. Open a setlist in performance view to page through full charts, or use Lyric Slides for a lyrics-only, projector-friendly view.

4. Pro Features & Upgrading

Pro is purchased in the app and tied to your account, so it carries over to every device you sign into.

Pro unlocks:

• Copying public songs into your own private, editable arrangements
• Unlimited songs and setlists (free accounts have caps)
• Guitar Tabs, Piano Chart, Lyric Slides export, and songbook backup/sync
• Priority access to new features

5. Billing, Cancellation & Refunds

Cancelling: in the app, tap the Pro badge, then Cancel subscription and confirm. Pro stays fully active until the end of your current billing period — cancelling never cuts you off early. Nothing is deleted when you drop to Free: every song and setlist you have stays exactly as it is.

Subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play are managed in your Apple or Google account settings, not in the app itself.

Refunds: if it's been 12 days or less since you were charged (Stripe/web purchases), contact us below and we'll refund it — no questions asked. App Store and Google Play purchases are refunded by Apple or Google directly, per their own policies.

6. Syncing Across Devices

On desktop, Chordacious can sync your songbook between your own devices through a shared folder you choose (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.) — not through our servers. On mobile, your Pro status and account data sync automatically when you sign in.

7. Troubleshooting

• Pro purchase not showing in the app — sign out and back in, or use the app's refresh/sync action; Pro status is pulled from your account, not stored locally.
• Songs not syncing between devices — make sure every device points at the exact same shared folder, and that folder is finishing its sync.
